Her professionalism, creativity, and intuitive nature have earned her rich and lasting relationships with satisfied clients.
Amanda also works very well with general contractors, other design professionals, and artists on both renovation and new construction projects. She believes that a great design is only as good as the installation; therefore, it is extremely important to work as a team of design professionals for the best interest of the client’s design. Her communication skills, well-developed detail drawings and specifications, sensitivity to schedules and deadlines, and her ability to work within a client’s budget help to streamline the building process and create a finished product that is rewarding to all involved in the process.
Amanda studied interior design at Texas State University and received her BS with an interior design major and art minor in 2000. Hill Design Studio was established in 2005 after Amanda earned her state interior design license by passing the NCIDQ examination. Amanda owned and operated an art gallery in Georgetown from 2011 to 2015 and then earned a MLS in Arts Development and Program Management in 2018. Hill Design Studio also offers art consultation services and maintains relationships with many artists as a result of operating the art gallery.
